Easy Bird's Nest Recipes from Zhang Jia Birdnest

Bird's Nest with Rock Sugar
Ingredients: 2pc bird's nest, rock sugar to taste.
Instructions:
1. Bring 500ml of water to the boil.
2. Place the bird's nests into the boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Season to taste with rock sugar.
4. This dish is ready after the rock sugar has been fully dissolved.
Bird's Nest Dessert with Papaya
Ingredients:Half a papaya, rock sugar to taste.
Instructions:
1. Bring 1000ml of water to the boil.
2. Add two pieces of bird's nest to the boiling water.
3. Add the papaya to the pot after 10 minutes.
4. Cook for a further 10 minutes.
5. Season to taste with rock sugar.
6. The dish is ready for serving after the rock sugar has fully dissolved.
Bird's Nest with Milk and Honey
Ingredients:2pc Bird's nest, honey 60ml, fresh milk 1000ml
Instructions:
1. Heat up 1000ml fresh milk in the pot; make sure that the temperature of the milk does not exceed 100 degrees Celsius.
2. Add the bird's nest to the milk when it boils. Cook for 5 minutes.
3. Add the honey to the pot after 5 minutes. Cook for a further 15 minutes.
4. The dish is ready to serve.。
Bird's Nest with Lotus Seeds and Lily
Ingredients: 2pc Bird's nest, 10pc lotus seed, rock sugar, 8pc lily, 3pc dried longan.
Instructions:
1. Simmer 1000ml water, the lotus seeds and rock sugar for 2 hours.
2. Add the lily and dried longan to the water and cook for a further half hour.
3. Add the bird's nest. Cook for a further 20 minutes.
4. The dish is ready to serve.
Bird's Nest with Pearl
Ingredients:1pc Bird's nest, water 300ml, white fungus 30g, pearl powder 20g, rock sugar 10g, coconut milk 10g.
Instructions:
1. Place the pre-soaked white fungus, rock sugar and coconut in the pot. Simmer for 30 minutes.
2. Add the bird's nest and pearl powder to the pot. Simmer for a further 15 minutes.
3. The dish is ready to serve.
Bird's Nest and Coconut
Ingredients:1pc Bird's nest, coconut 1pc, egg whites from 2 eggs, fresh milk 100g, coconut milk 20g, cane sugar 30g.
Instructions:
1. Mix the egg whites, fresh milk and sugar together in a bowl. 4. The dish is ready to serve.
2. Pour the mixture into the emptied coconut and cover with cling film. Steam the coconut for 15 minutes.
3. Add the coconut milk and bird's nest to the mixture. Steam for an additional 40 minutes.
4. The dish is ready to serve.
